Penguins Fall to Northern Kentucky

Youngstown, Ohio – The Youngstown State women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision to Northern Kentucky Saturday at Farmers National Bank Field.
With the loss, the Penguins fall to 4-11-2 overall and 2-7 in the Horizon League while the Norse improve to 10-6-1 overall and 7-1-1 in league play.
Youngstown State honored seniors Maddie Angelo, Maddy Bellaver, Jamie Ingrassia, Maddie Keister, and Taylor Lloyd in a pregame Senior Day Ceremony.
Freshman goalkeeper Maya Naimoli tied a career high with nine saves.
The Norse scored first half goals and added two more in the second half for the victory.
Youngstown State closes out the regular season against Robert Morris Wednesday, Oct. 30. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. in Moon Township, Pa.
