Indianapolis, Ind. – Youngstown State senior Dwayne Cohill was named to the Horizon League Men's Basketball All-Academic Team after a vote of the league's Faculty Athletic Representatives, the league announced on Thursday.
This marks the second straight season and the third time since 2019 a Youngstown State player was named to the all-academic team.
Cohill, a First-Team Preseason All-Horizon League, was named to the College Sports Communications Academic All-District First-Team, the Horizon League Honor Roll three times, and named Horizon League Player of the Week three times in 2022-23.
He ranks second in the league with 4.9 assists per game, third with a .524 field-goal percentage, fifth a .867 free-throw percentage, fifth in scoring at 17.9 points per game.
Cohill carries 3.56 grade-point average with a major in general studies.
