The Youngstown State men's basketball team closes out the non-conference portion of its slate when it host the United State Naval Academy, Thursday Dec. 21, at Beeghly Center. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. in Youngstown, Ohio, as part of a women's and men's basketball doubleheader. The game will be broadcast on 1390 WNIO and ESPN+.

Navy enters the game with an overall record of 3-6 and is coming off a 91-33 win over Washington College on Dec. 17. The Midshipmen also have victories over VMI (67-47) on Nov. 29 and Coppin State (75-52) on Dec. 3. Austin Benigni leads the Mids with 12.7 points per game.
Series vs. Navy
This is just the second meeting between Youngstown State and the U.S. Naval Academy. The Midshipmen and Penguins met last season and Navy won, 80-67, in Annapolis, Md., on Nov. 20, 2022.
