Cleveland, Ohio -- Senior goalkeeper Brooklynn Kirkpatrick recorded her third shutout of the season and the 13th of her career as Youngstown State women's soccer team settled for a 0-0 tie against Cleveland State on Thursday evening at Krenzler Field.
With the draw, the Penguins move to 6-5-2 overall and 2-3-1 in Horizon League play while the Vikings move to 3-7-3 overall and 0-3-3 in league play.
Kirkpatrick tallied five saves in the shutout and faced a total of 20 Vikings' shots.
Sophomore Taylor Berry led the Penguins with four shots and two shots on goal while sophomore Chloe Weiland also tallied two shots on goal.
Youngstown State hosts Oakland, Sunday, Oct. 8. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Farmers National Bank Field.Â
