Eleven Named NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes

Eleven Youngstown State softball players were named Easton/National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-America Scholar-Athletes for the 2021-22 academic year, the association announced.
In order to receive this honor, student-athletes must have achieved a grade-point average of at least 3.5 for the year.
Representing Youngstown State on the list were Sarah Bader, Cassandra Carlson, Grace Cea, Alex DeLeon, Jillian Jakse, Sydney Payne, Yazmine Romero, Kayla Rutherford, Nikki Saibene, Taylor Truran, and Megan Turner.
