Chloe Casello Scores First Career Goal in 4-1 Loss to Kent State

Kent, Ohio -- Freshman Chloe Casello scored the first goal of her career, but the Youngstown State women's soccer team dropped a 4-1 decision to Kent State on Thursday evening at Zoeller Field.
The Penguins fall to 0-2 on the season while the Golden Flashes improve to 2-1.
The Golden Flashes out shot the Penguins, 18-7, including a 12-3 edge in shots on goal.
Kent State jumped out to a 2-0 lead within the first 20 minutes of the game on a goal by Khyla Porter and a penalty kick by Cameron Shedenhelm.
Cosello cut the lead with in half with a score in the 53rd minute. Sophomore Lianna Van Sice sent a corner kick to the center of the box which was deflected up by the Kent State goalkeeper and Cosello's header found the left side of the open net.
The Golden Flashes added two more goals in the 65th and 80th minutes.
Youngstown State visits ACC member Wake Forest, Sunday, Aug. 29. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
