Fort Wanye, Indiana - The Youngstown State women's soccer team lost to Purdue Fort Wayne, 1-0, on Friday evening from the Hefner Soccer Complex.
The Mastodons improve 3-4-1 to while the Penguins fall to 1-4-2.
Purdue Fort Wayne got on the board early when Kayla Wisniewski scored in the 29th minute to give the Mastodons a 1-0 lead.
During the second half, the Penguins were unable to put one in the back of the net on four shots. For the game, Purdue Fort Wayne outshot YSU 14-7.
The Penguins are back in action this Sunday when they host Robert Morris at 1 p.m. for Senior Day.
