Programs Plays Host to YSU Invitational on Friday at WATTS

The Youngstown State track and field program will play host to the YSU Invitational on Friday afternoon at the WATTS. The meet, which features 18 schools, is set to begin at 3 p.m. Admission is $7, while children ages (5-12) are admitted $3.
Schools participating in Friday's meet include: Dayton, Robert Morris, Duquesne, Wright State, VMI, Slippery Rock, Malone, Westminster, Washington and Jefferson, Pitt-Johnstown, Wheeling Jesuit, Ursuline (Ohio), Buffalo State, Cuyahoga CC, Seton Hill, Cedarville and Clarion. This a non-team scoring meet.
The Penguins are coming off a strong performance at the Great Dane Classic last week in New York City.
On the men's side, Jacob Chiclowe, John Seaver, George Thomas, Eric Vendemia, Jay Jakovina, Dorian Davis, Garrett Mathias, Aaron Hartsough, Ryan Sowards, Kyle Joynes, Vince Corn, Michael Davis, Tarelle Irwin, Jon Hutnyan, Ryan Pavlicko, Marquis Williamson, Clay Febus, Brett Wilson, Kodie Fennell and Aron Korir all slated to compete.
For the women, Megan Wesner, Alison Roth, Jennifer Neider, Kendall Homan, Nicole Vlad, Katrina Rettburg, Brianna Wise, Hanna Ropp, Karlie Ligore, Leanna Hartsough, Paige Eckman, Katie Heney, Alexis Washington, Ciara Jarrett, Nina Grambling, Heather Coonfare, Nelly Yegon, Ashley Smith, Alteeka Vanwright, Nicole Pachol, Taylor Entzi, Alexis Cooper, Jillian Smith and Samantha Atwood will all be participating.
