Detroit, Mich. -- The Youngstown State women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to Detroit on Wednesday afternoon.
The Penguins fall to 7-8 overall and 2-4 in the Horizon League while the Titans improve to 9-6-1 overall and 5-2 in the league.
After a scoreless first half, Detroit's Kaitlin Quarrell took the ball the length of the field and scored at the 46:54 mark to put the Titans up 1-0.
Heather Brown added a goal at the 60:31 mark to give the Titans of 2-0 lead.
YSU goalkeeper had five saves and faced a total 12 shots.
The Penguins were outshot, 12-5.
The Guins close out the regular season by hosting Wright State on Senior Day, Sat., Oct. 27, at 1 p.m.
