Soccer Falls to Canisius in Final Minutes, 1-0

Buffalo, N.Y. -- Canisius' Maria Nelma scored the games's only goal with just four minutes remaining to knock off the Youngstown State women's soccer team, 1-0, on Sunday afternoon.
The Penguins fall to 3-2-1 overall while the Golden Griffs improve to 2-2-1.
Sophomore goalkeeper Ali Viola recorded five saves and allowed her first goal in three matches.
The Penguins outshot the Griffs, 16-11, including five from freshman Jade Flory, but only tallied four shots on goal.
The Guins return to action when they visit Kent State, Friday, Sept. 9, at 4 p.m. YSU also hosts Bowling Green, Sunday, Sept. 11, at 1 p.m. at Stambaugh Stadium.
