Lauren Brennan Scores First Goal of Season in 6-1 Loss at Oakland

Rochester, Mich -- Senior Lauren Brennan scored her first goal of the season but it was not enough as the Youngstown State soccer team dropped a 6-1 decision to Oakland on Friday afternoon.
The Penguins fall to 2-6 overall while the Golden Grizzlies improve to 2-4-1.
The goal marked Brennan's 15th career score while she now has 37 total career points.
Oakland, who tallied 10 shots on goal, jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead before Brennan put the Guins on the board at the 39th minute.
The Penguins return to action against Michigan, Sunday, Sept. 19, at 2 p.m. in Ann Arbor, Mich.
