Youngstown State University

Tara O'Brien is in her second season as an assistant coach with the Youngstown State women's soccer program.

Prior to YSU, O'Brien spent the last two seasons as a senior trainer for the UK Elite where she coordinated camps, and served as a residential coach. 

She also spent four years with the Kirkwood Soccer Club from 2013-17, where she was a tournament director, camp coordinator and soccer coach.

O'Brien was a four-year letterwinner at Lincoln University and ended her career as the school's all-time leader in goals, assists and total points. Named an All-American in 2012, O'Brien also led the NCAA in points per game in 2012 and scored 100 career points at Lincoln.

She graduated from Lincoln in 2015 with a bachelor's degree with a double major in psycholgoy and health science.
