At the league meet, Drudy had a career-best effort of 66.95m at the Horizon League Championships. The men swept the top three spots as Noah Weese was second and Weston McLain was third. In the 2019, Jake Wilson increased his average javelin throw by 14 feet from the 2018 season. Wilson's highlight of the 2019 season was breaking Tyler Donati’s school-record throw on his way to winning a Horizon League Conference Championship (66.98m). Drudy threw 65.86m for a second-place finish at conference while Angela Lock won the Horizon League title with a throw of 41.22m. Jones took second with a throw of 38.43m.
