High School: Was a two-year letterwinner as a defensive tackle...played in the Jack Arvin All-Star Game...as a senior, Leopards were 12-1...opened the season with 12 straight victories before losing to Akron Butchel in Regional Finals (7-6)team won the TAC-8 Championship...coach was Jeff Whittaker...also a two-year letterwinner in wrestling.
