Football Alumni
The Football Alumni Group is a branch of the Penguin Club that helps support the past, current and future football student-athletes. The group also works to keep former players from the long ago past and recent teams in touch. Each year the organization holds a golf outing. Also, continuing for the 2026 season, the Football Alumni Group will be hosting a tent for all Football Alumni members in the M-70 Tailgate Lot for every regular season home game.
The Football Alumni has also developed a scholarship endowment that is presented to a current Youngstown State football student-athlete prior to each season.

Why Be a YSU Football Alumni Club Member?
- Being a Football Alumni Club member entitles you to one free season ticket and one season ticket at half price. Tickets should be claimed before game day by contacting Austin Snodgrass. They can also be claimed on game day by going to the YSU Athletics Ticket Office.
- Football Alumni Club members are entitled to a discount at all paid events.
- Membership includes one free ticket to the end-of-year door prize raffle that will be pulled at the tailgate at the last home game. This year, we have loge seats for next season and a choice of a free foursome for either the golf outing in Youngstown or in Florida.
- We provide a tailgate at every home game that is FREE to ALL football alums. You do not need to be a member of the Football Alumni Club to participate. It is in the corner of the M-70 lot. We provide free food and drinks. It is there every home game and starts four hours before game time.
Note: The money we raise goes to pay for meals for non-scholarship football players and supports our endowment that provides one scholarship. Any remaining funds go directly to the team to be used at the discretion of the football coach.
