2021: Played in all 10 games as a member of special teams and reserve on offense…rushed one time for three yards vs. South Dakota State…caught two passes for nine yards…had receptions against Michigan State and UNI…returned six punts for 48 yards with a long return of 14 yards…had two punt returns vs. Western Illinois and Indiana State…had three kickoff returns for 38 yards vs. the Sycamores.

2021 Spring (Sophomore): Did not see action.

2019 (Redshirt Freshman): Saw limited action in two games...played against Robert Morris and Western Illinois...had three rushes on the season for four yards...had a rush for five yards against RMU...had two carries against WIU.

2018 (Freshman): Redshirted.

High School: Was an Honorable-Mention Division I All-Ohio selection...was a first-team Northeast Inland District Division I selection as a senior...in career rushed for more than 2,000 yards and scored 24 touchdowns...as a junior, rushed for 936 yards averaging 4.5 yards per carry and 12 touchdowns...also accumulated 1,196 all-purpose yards...coach was Phil Annarella...also played basketball and competed in track and field...member of the honor roll and the National Honor Society.

PERSONAL: Parents are Kim Hutchinson and Randy Smith Sr...dad played football for the Penguins and was a standout defensive back in the early 1990's...has three sisters and two brothers...is the 2022-23 recipient of the Coach Bob Dove Scholarship endowment and the Robert J. and Lisa A. Korandovich Scholarship endowment.
