2015 (Sophomore): Played in the season opener against Pittsburgh.

2014 (R-Freshman): Played in eight games as was in the starting lineup twice...started against Duquesne and Butler...was a member on special teams units and played linebacker...credited with five tackles on the campaign, two of which were solos...both solo tackles came in win over Saint Francis (Pa.)...had stops against Illinois, Duquesne and Western Illinois...earned his first letter.

2013 (Freshman): Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played linebacker and fullback...rushed for 171 yards and scored four touchdowns as a senior...was an all-region and all-district pick as a linebacker...played in the North vs. South All-Star Game...Hornets went 11-2 advancing to the PIAA Class AA quarterfinals in 2012 before falling to Richland...rushed for 400 yards on 65 attempts...posted an 11-2 mark and advanced to the PIAA Class AA quarterfinals before losing to Tyrone Area...Hickory won District 10 title for the first time in 20 years...was a four-year letterwinner...coach was Bill Brest...also competed in track and field...was on the 4x100-meter relay team (Class AA) that won the state championship in 2011.

PERSONAL: Father is Mark Palumbo...has two sisters and a brother...major is exercise science...is the 2015-16 recipient of the Four Square Club Scholarship.
