2010 (Senior): Started all 11 games at center…played every YSU offensive snap 626 in conference play…played all 98 official snaps against Illinois State...in league action YSU averaged 422.2 yards per game…showed great balance with 212 passing and 210.2 rushing yards per game…overall the 412 total offense yards per game was a school record...did not all a sack for the year...named the team's Offensive Lineman of the Game against Southern Illinois...earned his fourth letter.
2009 (Junior): Played in nine games, starting three contests...started at center against Western Illinois, at left guard against Southern Illinois and Illinois State...earned a season grade of 71 percent...played 238 snaps on the year...had a season-high 72 snaps played at SIU...also played 68 versus WIU and 52 against Illinois State...came on late against North Dakota State and played all 19 snaps at left guard during the fourth-quarter comeback...played 29 for the game...did not play against Missouri State and South Dakota State...earned his third letter.
2008 (Sophomore): Played in nine games, starting the final three at center...played guard and tackle during the year...started against Illinois State, Indiana State and Western Illinois...earned a grade of 76 percent for the season...credited with 313 snaps played by the coaching staff...played a season-high 75 snaps against the Sycamores...also had 73 snaps played at Illinois State...did not play versus Liberty, North Dakota State and South Dakota State...earned his second letter.
2007 (R-Freshman): Played in nine games as a reserve center and offensive guard...credited with 140 snaps played on the offensive line...had a high of 42 against Lock Haven...played 31 against Southern Utah...a member of the placement kicks unit on special teams...did not play against Ohio State and Southern Illinois...earned his first letter...named to Gateway Honor Roll.
2006 (Freshman): Redshirted...named to Gateway Honor Roll.
HIGH SCHOOL: As a senior was named honorable-mention all-conference on offense and defense...ranked among the best linemen in the WPIAL...played offensive tackle and defensive tackle...as a junior was named to the Tribune Review's All-Star Team as a defensive lineman...coach was Greg Meisner...also participated in track and field and wrestling.
PERSONAL: Parents are Myron and Marilyn Rechichar...has a sister (Nicole)...born May 3, 1988...major is exercise science...great uncle Bert Rechichar played in the NFL and AFL in the 1950's and early 1960's...he held the NFL record for longest field goal until Tom Dempsey in 1970...recipient of the 2010-11 Richard R. Peterson Scholarship.
