2018 (Junior): Played in all 11 games and made two starts...started at guard against UNI and Illinois State...earned his second letter.

2017 (Sophomore): Played in all eight games and started the first five contests at right guard...YSU averaged 222.5 yards rushing per game for the season and 200.5 in MVFC games…Penguins finished with 28 rushing touchdowns…YSU had six 240-yard plus rushing contests, including four in MVFC play…played every snap in two games...earned his first letter.

2016 (Redshirt Freshman): Played in two games as a reserve offensive lineman...saw action against Duquesne and Robert Morris.

2015 (Freshman): Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: Special Mention All-Ohio Division IV selection as a senior…was a first-team Division IV Northeast Inland District pick…played center as a senior…in 2014 West Branch was 6-4 and just missed the playoffs…coach was D.J. Dota…also a standout in track and field…was the top area thrower in the discus (167-8) and shot put (a school-record 53-8)…became just the seventh West Branch boy athlete to place at the state track meet by finishing fifth in the Division II discus (163-10).

PERSONAL: Parents are Krista and Tim Zinni...has a brother...major is Integrated Language Arts Education...is the 2019-20 recipient of the Sloko Gill Scholarship and Debra L. Hinkle Athletic Scholarship.
