2021: Honorable-Mention All-MVFC selection…showed strong accuracy throughout the season making 8-of-9 field goals and 29-of-30 PAT attempts…lone field-goal miss was a 56-yard try at UNI that had the distance, but was just wide…in the opener against UIW, he kicked a game-tying 41-yard field goal at the end of regulation and the winning 27-yard field goal in overtime…kicked three field goals in the win over the Cardinals…in league play he was 5-of-6 on field-goal tries and 21-of-22 on PATs…made five PATs against UIW, Western Illinois and Southern Illinois…converted two field goals against Missouri State, including a 45-yarder…booted a 44-yard FG against North Dakota State…handled kickoff duties for the Guins recording 22 touchbacks on 48 kickoffs.
2021 Spring (Junior):Â Started all seven games as placekicker and was the Penguins' kickoff specialist...converted six of nine field goal tries...made a field goal in the final five games of the season...kicked two field goals in victory over South Dakota...kicked a 41-yard and a 32-yard field goal against the Coyotes...made a 38-yard field goal at Missouri State...kicked a 36-yard field goal vs. Southern Illinois...made a 33-yard field goal at Western Illinois...also made a 33-yard field goal at South Daktota State...was 10-of-11 on PAT kicks...finished the spring with 28 points...had 24 kickoffs for 1,419 yards and had 14 touchbacks...had four touchbacks at SDSU and against South Dakota.
2019 (Sophomore):Â Started all 12 games as placekicker and was the Penguins' kickoff specialist...converted on six of eight field goals...booted a season-long 43 yards against Samford...was 46-of-49 on PAT kicks...scored 64 points during the year...made a 31-yard field goal against Southern Illinois...also made kicks against North Dakota State, Western Illinois, Indiana State and Robert Morris...was 7-of-7 on PATs against WIU and 6-of-6 against RMU...made final 31 PATs of the season...kicked off 65 times for a total of 3,712 yards and had 18 touchbacks...recorded a season-best four touchbacks against Howard...kicked off at least five times in six of 12 games...went 3-for-3 for field goals in the month of October...earned his first letter.
Kent State: Was a member of the program in 2017 and 2018...handled kickoff duties for the Golden Flashes in 2018...totaled 2,909 yards on 55 kickoffs and had 15 touchbacks...played in all 12 games...recovered an on-side kick at Penn State...redshirted in 2017.
High School: First-team All-Ohio Division III as a senior...named to the WKBN Big 22 Northeast Ohio team...also named first-team Division III All-Northeast Inland District as a placekicker...made 11-of-14 attempts and was 32-of-32 on PAT kicks...drilled a career-long 55-yard field goal vs. Youngstown East...that field goal was the fifth-longest made kick in Ohio high school history...recorded 82 career touchbacks on kickoffs...made 71-of-73 career PAT attempts...two-time first-team all-conference...was a team captain...coach was Ryan Williams...also competed in track and field...was a state champion on Poland’s 4x100m relay squad...also ran the 4x400m relay.
Personal: Son of YSU Hall of Famers Dianne Kosko and Paul McFadden...Kosko (Rappach) was a standout women’s basketball player at YSU while McFadden played in the NFL for six years as a placekicker for three teams...his older brother, Connor, was a placekicker at YSU from 2013-16...the 2022-23 recipient of the Simerlink Family Scholarship endowment.
