2014 (Freshman): Played in six games as a reserve tight end and member of special teams...named scout team Offensive Player of the Week against Illinois...earned his first letter.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a three-time All-Mountain Athletic Conference selection...earned All-West North Carolina honors three times (twice on first team and once on second team)...played tight end and linebacker...caught 27 passes for 447 yards and four touchdowns...had 81 tackles on the year...Rockets were 9-5 in 2013 and advanced to 3A quarterfinals...posted a 9-3 record in 2012 and shared the Mountain Athletic 4A title...earned three letters...coach was Shane Laws...also competed in track and field and wrestling and played baseball.
