Lafayette (2018-21): Played in 35 games and started 26 contests in the secondary for the Leopards over four seasons…as a senior, was third on the team in tackles with 56, including 33 solo stops…had 4.5 TFLs…registered at least six tackles in six contests…had a career-best nine stops against Colgate and had had eight vs. Harvard…in the spring of 2021, had 10 tackles and two PBUs while starting all three games…in 2019, started 11 of 12 games at cornerback…had 29 tackles and eight pass breakups…had a high of four pass breakups against William and Mary…had a season-best six tackles against Penn and Princeton…in 2018, played in nine games with one start…start came against Army…on the season had 13 tackles and 1.5 TFLs…had a season-best four stops against Monmouth.

High School: Three-year starter who earned all-conference, all-county and all-district honors at Avon Lake…played defensive back, wide receiver, running back and kick returner…led team to an 8-4 record as a team captain in 2017, helping guide squad to a win over No. 1 team in the state…also competed in track and field (sprinter) where he is the school-record holder in the 100m, tying a 30-year old record with a time of 10.6 seconds…all-conference and all-district selection and a regional qualifier in track.

Personal: Son of David and Julie Burr…has a younger brother, Kyle…cousin John Swanson played baseball at Cincinnati and other cousin Dylan Swanson played lacrosse at Detroit Mercy.
