2013 (Freshman): Appeared in four games, three as a position player and one as a pitcher… Batted .286 (2-for-7) with a walk in three games, two of which he started in the outfield… Was 1-for-3 in his first start against Morehead State on March 5… Was 1-for-2 with a walk in a start at Pittsburgh on March 10… That was his final game of the season… As a pitcher, allowed two hits and a walk while striking out a batter in an inning at Charlotte on March 1.

High School: Hit .386 with two homers, 15 RBIs and 23 runs scored as a junior in leading Kiski Area High to its first section title since 2002... Was a WPIAL AAAA first-team all-section pick, a First-Team All-Valley News Dispatch selection... Played in just two games as a senior because of an ankle injury... Earned two letters... As a pitcher for Delweld in the Johnstown AAABA League, he was 3-0 with a 0.95 ERA as a pitcher... Delweld took fifth in the AAABA national tournament.
