2011 (Junior): Batted .244 with six runs and five RBIs in 40 games, 29 of which he started...Started 17 games behind the plate and 12 at designated hitter...Hit .281 in 32 at bats against Horizon League opponents and .300 in 20 at bats at home... Was 3-for-3 as a pinch hitter... Reached base in each of his final nine games of the season... Tied for second in the Horizon League with 11 sacrifice bunts... Posted two sacrifice bunts in a win over Cleveland State (4/23)... Posted two stolen bases after having one his first two years combined... Had two hits three times... 2010 (Sophomore): Played in 22games, starting 15 at catcher... Hit .269 with 11 runs scored and three RBIs... Had multiple hits three times, including a career-best three hits at Saint Joseph's... Doubled twice and scored twice against the Hawks... Also had two hits, walked twice, and scored two runs at Butler (3/27)... Went 2-for-5 with a double at New Orleans (2/27)... Scored two runs three times... Hit safely in six straight games from April 3-23... Stole a base at Duquesne(3/3).
2009 (Freshman): Played in 27games and started 15 - 14 at catcher and one at DH... Batted .278with six runs scored, seven RBIs and a home run.. His home run came on an inside-the-park grand slam at Valparaiso (5/2)... Had a career-best three hits in four at bats at Butler (4/22)... Also had two hits, including a double, against Cleveland State (4/12)... Had hits in eight of his final 11 games.
High School: Earned three letters and was a team captain one year... Named First-Team All Pima Region as a senior... Ranked second in the 5A Pima League in home runs with six and RBIs with 29... Was also a standout wide receiver and defensive back for Pinnacle, earning first-team all-region accolades... Retired as the school's all-time leader in touchdown receptions and kick return yards.
