Biography

2011 (Senior): Played in 49 games, 39 of which he started in right field... Batted .189 with 10runs scored and 10 RBIs... Hit .170 in league games and .219 at home... Scored a run in 10 different games and had an RBI in 10different contests... Had two hits three times, including back-to-back games against Walsh and Le Moyne... Had a six-game hitting streak from March 26 to April 3... Walked with the bases loaded as the winning run scored in the ninth vs. Cleveland State(4/23)... Stole a base in back-to-back games against Le Moyne.

2010 (Junior): Played in 38games and started 28 - 26 in the outfield and two at designated hitter... Batted .248 with 24 runs scored, 19 RBIs and three home runs... Posted nine multi-hit games, four multi-RBI games, nine multi-run games... Recorded career highs with three hits and three runs scored against Walsh (3/14)... Drove in a career-high five runs against Duquesne (4/7)... Was 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, an RBI single, a sacrifice fly and a bases-loaded walk against the Dukes... Also homered at Cincinnati (3/5) and at Pittsburgh(3/17)... Had four multi-hit games in a five-game span from March12-19, which brought his average up to .93... Was hitting .307 on April 23... Had two sacrifice bunts against Wright State(4/30).

2009: Was enrolled at YSU but was not on the team... Will count as his redshirt season.

Oakland: Played in four games in 2008 for the Grizzlies.

Brescia: Played in 47 games and started 42 at Brescia in the 2007 season... Belted four homers and had three doubles... Had 31 hits, 21 runs scored and 20 RBIs.

High School: Earned three letters and was named team captain one year... Batted .390 as a senior and hit three home runs for the Spartans... Hit .320 as a junior... Named All-Federal League as a junior and senior... Helped lead the Spartans to a sectional title as a junior and senior... Was rated as one of the top 100 players in Ohio in both baseball and football... Played for the Babe Ruth World Series Championship team as a member of the Youngstown All-Stars... Also played in the Mickey Mantle World Series as a member of the Midland (Texas) Braves and the NABF World Series as a member of Line Drive Academy... Earned the Del Lowery Sportsmanship Award at the Babe Ruth World Series... Also earned three letters and was a team captain in football...  Named the 97th-best senior in the state in football as a wide receiver... Set the school record for most receiving yards in a game... Was a member of the National Honor Society.
