Biography

2024 Outdoor: Ran a personal best of 31:40.50 in the 10,000m at the Colonial Relays...competed in five events.

2024 Indoor: Ran a 3,000m personal best time of 8:47.90 at the Akron Campbell Invitational...earned a mile personal best of 4:29.56 at the SPIRE Indoor Games...posted a 5,000m personal-best time of 14:59.51 at the Boston University Terrier Classic...competed at four meets.

2023 Outdoor: Ran a 5,000m personal-best time of 15:17.23 at the Bison Outdoor Classic.

2022-23 Indoor: Ran the 3,000m at the Akron Al Campbell Invite in a personal-best time of 8:56.80.

High School: Was a two-time first team All-AAC (2019-20, 2020-21)...qualified for cross country district and regional races during 2021 season...holds 24th-fastest 5000m cross country time in Boardman High School history (16:33)...helped lead Boardman High School to an AAC cross country championship in 2019-20 and an AAC track and field championship in 2020-2021.

Personal: Son of Brian and Char Gorby...has a sister - Jersey Gorby...parents attended and graduated from YSU...is a 2024-25 recipient of the Clarence R. Smith, Jr. Scholarship.
