HIGH SCHOOL: Spent three years at the Anaheim Discovery Christian School (Anaheim, Calif.) as a member of the boys’ golf team…named the 2019 San Joaquin League Player of the Year…lettered three years in basketball and one year each in soccer and badminton…placed second at the both the Junior World Qualifier and the AJGA Qualifier for the KIA Junior Championship in the summer of 2019…captured a win at the SCPGA (Southern California PGA) Junior Tukwet two-day event…finished in sixth place at the Future Champions Golf (FCG) International Championship in San Diego.

Why I chose YSU: I chose YSU because of the diverse opportunities in both academics and athletics. YSU gave me a chance to pursue my golf game while getting to study the major that I like. YSU has a great golf team that I knew I would be able to help me grow better as a teammate and as an individual. People here are also genuinely nice and are willing to help me with my transition. I knew this school was the right place for me to prepare and get ready for the next chapter of my life.
The best thing about Coach Miklos is: Coach Miklos is a very nice, kind and caring person. He helped me with many things during my transition, and I knew he would be a coach that handles everything with love and calmness. He also has a lot of experience with coaching, and I believe that he will lead us to be a better team.
The best thing about being a Penguin golfer: Having supportive teammates and coaches, and a great athletic community.
The best thing about going to school at YSU is: YSU has great athletic and academic programs. I like the campus the most because there are a lot of things to explore and great facilities to facilitate my student and athletic life.

My greatest sports moment: The first one was when I won the playoffs with a birdie and advanced to the state championship during my senior year of high school. Another one was when I won a tournament on my mom’s birthday, and that was the greatest birthday gift for her.
Best career competitive round: 68 (-7)
Hobbies: Reading novels, watching shows/movies and going out for a walk/drive.
Post-college plans/ambitions: I want to be able to have a job that I like while also playing and having fun with golf.
