2023-24 (Senior): Was voted a Second Team All-American by the National Tenpin Coaches Association... Also voted to the NTCA All-Central Region Honorable Mention Team and All-Conference USA Third Team... Named to the National Tenpin Coaches Association All-Academic Team and earned Academic All-District Accolades by the College Sports Communicators... At the conference level, was voted to the Conference USA All-Academic Team while also being named to the C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll and earning the Commissioner’s Academic Medal for having a GPA of at least 3.75… Bowled in 48 traditional games and averaged 203.35... Broke 200 in 30 of those 48 games... Bowled a collegiate-best 279 game at the Mid-Winter Invitational against Sam Houston (Feb 17)... Named the Most Valuable Player at the MOTIV Ladyjack Classic when she posted a five-game set of 1,144 and averaged 228.80 in traditional play... Had two more top-10 finishes at the final two tournaments of the season… Placed seventh at the Mid-Winter Invitational, and she finished fifth at the Music City Classic to earn all-tournament team accolades... Also earned all-tournament accolades at the Conference USA Championship... Averaged 20.59 pins per frame in Baker play, which was the second-best average in program history... Averaged 20.50 pins per frame overall, which was the fourth-best average in program history... Was the anchor in the lineup as the Penguins shot the second Baker 300 game in program history against Fairleigh Dickinson at the Hawk Classic on Nov. 17, 2023…The Penguins went on to shoot 1,323 against the Knights and threw 28 consecutive strikes over a stretch when they shot 279, 300 and 286 over the final three games… That was the second-highest set in any format in NCAA history... Anchored as the Penguins bowled a 299 Baker game two days later... Struck on 53.02 percent of her attempts, which was the third-best rate in school history... Converted 67.43 percent of her spare tries, and had a mark in 84.70 percent of her frames.
Summer 2023: Finished 17th at the 2023 PWBA Waterloo Open, which was her second career tournament hosted by the Professional Women's Bowling Association... Averaged 224.92 over 12 games to place 17th, and she was the third-highest finisher among amateurs... Was 37 pins away from the top-12 cut line for match play.
2022-23 (Junior): Named an Honorable Mention All-American by the National Tenpin Coaches Association, joining teammate Kirsten Moore as the first two Penguins to earn the honor... Also became the first Penguin to be named First-Team All-Southland... Academically, named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team and to the SBL Academic Honor Roll... Voted the Southland's Bowler of the Month for January... Served as YSU's primary anchor as she broke the previous record for traditional game average by more than four pins…Set single-season school records for pinfall (11,948), average (209.61), matches (57) and 200 games (31) in traditional play as well as total frames (1,403)... Became the second YSU bowler to win an individual tournament title when she finished first at the PVAMU Invitational... Earned all-tournament team accolades at PVAMU and the Big Red Invitational when she finished sixth... Set the school record for highest average in traditional play for a tournament with a 227.4 over five games at the Bit Red Invitational... Also set the YSU record for pinfall over five games at the tournament with 1,137... Bowled a career-high 277 game against Wright State at the MOTIV Penguin Classic when she struck on her first nine attempts... Finished in the top 10 at five different tournaments, which tied for the most in the Southland, and placed among the top 25 in eight of YSU's nine regular-season tournaments… Finished off the season by averaging 230.5 in traditional games, which led the tournament, and 20.44 in Baker frames at the Lansing Regional... Bowled in 833 Baker frames and averaged 19.91 pins per frame in the format... Overall, averaged 20.34 pins per frame - the second-best average in program history - over 1,403 frames... Struck on a team-best 51.03% of her attempts, converted 69.43% of her spares, and marked at an 85.03% clip.
Summer 2022: Reached match play a the 2022 Junior Gold Championships in the U20 Division by having one of the top 16 pinfalls through 26 games of qualifying... Had a great final three rounds of qualifying to move up 30 spots in the standings, and she was the 13th seed in match play... Won her first two matches and was one win away from reaching the TV finals... Finished the tournament in a tie for fifth.
2021-22 (Sophomore): Earned All-Academic Team accolades from the NTCA and the Southland… Bowled in 26 traditional games and averaged 194.46… Reached the 200 plateau 12 times and recorded a season-high 248 game against Sacred Heart at the Northeast Classic (1/22)… Her best tournament finish was 18th place at the Big Red Invitational when she posted a 1,083 set over five games… That was the sixth-best five-game set in school history… Occupied the third spot in the lineup as YSU posted its first 300 game in program history in a Baker match against Valparaiso on Feb. 25 at the Big Red Invitational… The Penguins also set a school record for highest match total with a 1,189 against the Beacons… Bowled in 424 Baker frames and averaged 19.53 pins in the format… Overall, averaged 19.49 pins per frame in 683 frames… Had strikes in 47 percent of her frames, converted 64.36 percent of her spare attempts and posted a 82.32 fill frame percentage.
2020-21 (Freshman): Earned a spot on the inaugural NTCA All-Freshman Team... Named to the Southland Bowling League All-Academic Team and an NTCA All-Academic scholar-athlete... Had the highest Baker double percentage in the country at .642 and was honored by the NTCA as part of its National Statistical Leader Awards Program... Bowled in 27 team games, totaling 5,419 pins for an average of 200.70... Surpassed 200 in 14 of those 27 games... Posted games of 267 and 262 during the season, which are the third and fifth-highest games in program history... Is the only player in school history to top 260 twice in the same season, and she posted two of the top five averages ever at a tournament by a Penguin... Was named to the all-tournament team at the Mid-Winter Invitational with a fifth-place finish... Her pinfall of 1,324 was the highest in program history for a six-game tournament, and her average of 220.67 was the second-highest at a tournament by a Penguin regardless of length... Placed in the top 13 in three of the four regular-season tournaments she bowled in... Finished 13th at the Big Red Invitational with an average of 216.88, which is the fifth-best mark at a tournament in program history... Served as the Penguins' primary leadoff bowler during Baker play, including when the team set a school record with a 279 game against Maryville at the Big Red Invitational (2/26)... Bowled in 262 Baker frames and averaged 19.38 pins per frame... For the year, bowled in 534 frames and posted 261 strikes and 178 spares... Led the squad with a 48.88 strike percentage while adding a spare percentage of 65.20 and a fill frame percentage of 82.21.
High School: Built an impressive list of accomplishments while competing at St. Croix Preparatory Academy and on the Minnesota Junior Bowlers Tour... Earned second-team all-state honors in 2018 and 2020, and she was a first-team all-state pick in 2019... Was named the top female bowler in St. Paul in 2018... Also earned all-conference accolades... Helped lead St. Croix to two state titles in girls bowling and a conference championship in Co-Ed bowling... Bowling sport shot on the MJBT, she placed in the top three at tournaments... Her highest career game was 287, and her highest three-game set was 734... Also a standout on the softball field, she set career records for home runs and strikeouts despite not having a senior season due to COVID-19... Led the softball team to the first conference championship in school history... Made the A Honor Roll all four years of her high school career.
Personal: Parents are Scott and Christy... Has a sister (Morgan)... Graduated summa cum laude with a bachleor's degree in criminal justice in May 2024...Was the 2022-23 recipient of the Women's Athletic Alumni Scholarship endowment.
