Youngstown, Ohio — Youngstown State junior Elizabeth Teuber has been named to Conference USA's October Performers of the Month Team after an impressive first month in the 2026-27 season.
Teuber, who hails from Holly, Mich., led the Penguins in the Player Composite Performance Index (PCPI) while serving as YSU's anchor in the first two events of the season. She paced the Penguins with an impressive .931 fill percentage, while also leading the team in spare conversion percentage, makeable spare percentage and single-pin spare percentage. Teuber ranked second on the team in overall scoring average with 21.62 pins per frame, and she was also second with a 21.93 average in traditional play, a 21.42 mark in Baker and a .573 strike percentage.
The PCPI is a measure that combines 13 identified categories and compares student-athlete performance, and the top five Conference USA members are named to the Performers of the Month Team. Teuber was joined by Vanderbilt's Katelyn Abigania, Jacksonville State's Kaitlyn Stull and Annalise Obryant, and Nebraska's Brenna Hartzler. Arkansas State bowler Brooke Andresen was named the conference's Freshman of the Month for October. Teuber is YSU's first selection on the Performers of the Month Team since Conference USA moved to the current format of monthly recognitions before the 2025-26 season.
Youngstown State's next tournament will be the Jersey Jamboree in Hackensack, N.J., on Nov. 20-22.
