HIGH SCHOOL: Rated as the No. 2 defensive tackle and the seventh-best defensive lineman in the state by Rivals.com...an Army All-America Game Invitee...sustained a season-ending injury in the first quarter of the first game of his senior season...first-team all-conference, all city and honorable-mention all-district following junior campaign...recorded 63 tackles, six sacks, five forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and a trio of pass break-ups...credited with 30 tackles, four sacks, and forced five fumbles as a sophomore...managed 15 stops and two sacks in his initial year...coach was Kevin Tooson...earned three letters in track & field by competing in shot and discus...served as student class president in 2010...also involved with student council and was the school's student-athlete of the year.
