Burrows on Beck: "Erica is a fiery competitor who has a high knowledge of the game and is just a ball of energy. Although she recently had an ACL injury, she is on her way to recovery, and we are hoping to have her back by the fall. Erica's ball control is her biggest asset, and we look forward to having her be a tremendous addition to our serve receive and defensive efforts for the next four years."

High School: Appeared on the AVCA All-America Watch List at the beginning of her senior year... Helped lead two squads to national titles in 2008 - the Milwaukee Sting to the Junior Volleyball Directors Association title and the Badger High Performance team... West Bend East won conference and sectional titles and qualified for state her sophomore and junior years and finished as Wisconsin's runners-up her junior season... Ranked second among state-qualified teams in aces with 76 in 2008... Also had 269 digs that season... Member of the National Honor Society and received the Good Citizen Award from the Daughters of the American Revolution... Earned three letters.

Personal: Parents are Thomas and Jennifer... Has a brother (Everett) and a sister (Elise)... Academic interest is nursing.
