More About Kara:

Why I chose YSU: I chose YSU because of the population size, the campus and the people. It was also because of the girls on the team and Coach Miklos.

The best thing about Coach Miklos is: He keeps you posted on the team's progress and turns it into a lesson that everyone can learn and improve from.

The best thing about being a Penguin golfer: Is to be a part of a stronger team and competition.

The best thing about going to school at YSU is: It is close to home and I get to meet new people.

At 150 yards, I pull out my: 5 Hybrid (Between club, I would rather be long than short)

My favorite club in my bag is my: 8 Iron because of the length of the club.

My favorite golf course: Wedgewood Golf & Country Club (Powell, Ohio).

My favorite golfer: Sung Hyun Park

My golf superstitions/rituals are: Changing golf balls during the middle of the round.

Person I would love to play a round of golf with: Lydia Ko

My greatest sports moment: When I shot a 79 to go to State in high school during my junior year.

Best career competitive round: I shot a 75 during the second day for State.

Hobbies: Listening to music, cooking, arts & crafts and spending time with my people.

Post-college plans/ambitions:

  • I want to have a great year of school and golf.
  • I want to really improve my distance and score.
  • That I would stay with my major.
