2020 Indoor: Redshirted due to injury

2019 Outdoor (Sophomore): Took first place in the shot put with a throw of 14.33m...finished as the runner-up in the discus with a personal-best throw of 44.62m...earned a seventh place finish in the hammer with a personal-best throw of 45.94m at the Horizon League Championships...recorded the third furthest shot put mark in program history on April 20 at the Ashland Alumni Open. 

2019 Indoor (Sophomore): Won the shot put with a throw of 15.28m...finished fourth in the weight throw with 15.46m at the Horizon League Championships.

2018 Outdoor (Freshman): Took second place in shot with a throw of 14.84m...finished fourth in discus with 41.48m at the Horizon League Championships.

2018 Indoor (Freshman): Finished second in shot put with 13.64m...competed in weight throw at the Horizon League Championships.

High School: Finished ninth at the Division II Ohio State Championships in the discus...had a throw of 126-6 to finish in the top 10...also qualified for the state meet in the shot put...finished seventh in the shot put at the OATCCC Division II/III State meet...had a throw of 40-4.25 at the indoor meet...as a junior, placed fourth at the Division II state meet in the shot put with a throw of 41-8...was ninth at the OATCCC indoor meet in the shot put with a throw of 36-9...has a personal best of 136-3 in the discus and 42-5.25 in the shot put...

Personal: Parents are Jane and Robert Merwin...has a brother...majoring in social work.
