2018 Outdoor (Junior): Placed ninth in the triple jump with 12.93m...competed in the long jump at the Horizon League Championships.

2018 Indoor (Junior): Finished seventh in triple jump with 13.16m at the Horizon League Championships.

High School: Competed in the 400m hurdles, high jump and triple jump...had a best performance of 5-8 in the high jump and 43-0 in the triple jump...in the triple jump relay, set the meet record at the Union County Relays...also played basketball.

Personal: Parents are Dr. Emeka and Mrs. Ebele Obinnakwelu...has a sister (Oluchi) and two brothers (Emeka Jr. and Ikem)...Emeka Jr. is a YSU student in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program.
