2011 Junior Season
Appeared in 42 games and started 40...Batted .200 (20-for-100) with two doubles, two home runs and eight runs batted in...Also scored 14 runs...Had four multi-hit games... Went 2-for-4 against Kent State (2/13)...Recorded two hits against Savannah State (3/11)...Went 2-for-4 with a home run, double and four runs batted in against Valpariso (4/17)...Had two singles against Butler (4/23)...Hit a home run against Green Bay (5/7).
2010 Sophomore Season
Started all 50 games at shortstop... Batted .317 with 10 doubles, three home runs, 18 runs scored and 22 runs batted in... Recorded nine multi-hit games and and five multi-RBI games... Batted .360 with runners on base and .368 with runners in scoring position... Led the team with 12 two-out RBI... Collected three three-hit games... Went 3-for-4 with a double and three runs batted in against Wagner (3/11)... Turned in a 3-for-3 performance with a double against Dayton (3/20)... Owned a 10-game hitting streak (4/3-15), which was the second longest on the team... Batted .387 (12-for-31) with seven runs scored, six runs batted in and three doubles during that span... Belted home runs against Saint Francis (Pa.) (3/18), Detroit (4/15) and Wright State (4/17)... Improved batting average 117 points from freshman campaign.
2009 Freshman Season
Appeared and started all 50 games at shortstop... Posted six multi-hit games and two multi-RBI contests... Batted .200 with 10 runs scored, 12 runs batted in, six doubles and two home runs... Went 2-for-4 in a 7-3 win over Saint Francis (Pa.) (3/7)... Collected two singles and scored against Penn (3/9)... Went 3-for-4 with a run and RBI against Wright State (3/28)... Recorded a five-game hitting streak (4/4-4/11)... Batted .438 (7-for-16) with two home runs, a double and six runs batted in during that span... Hit her first career home run against UIC (4/4)... Went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs in second game against the Flames... Drove in two runs and collected two singles against Toledo (4/8)... Went 2-for-4 with a double and scored a run against Green Bay (5/2).
High School
Was a four-year letterwinner at Tallmadge High School... Named first-team all-conference and second team all-northeast Ohio as a senior... Batted .333 with an on-base percentage of .441 and a slugging percentage of .460 as a senior... Earned first-team all-conference honors and second team all-northeastern Ohio laurels as a junior... Led Tallmadge to three straight conference championships (2006-08).

Daughter of Cliff and Lisa Philen... Major is education... Born June 18, 1990... is the 2011-12 recipient of the Van Sickle Foundation Athletic Scholarship.
