Biography

2019-20 (Junior): Saw action in two matches...played singles against Western Michigan and Lamar in the spring.

2018-19 (Sophomore): Played in five matches in the fall...suffered a knee injury and did not see action in the spring.

2017-18 (Freshman): Was a member of the team, but did not see action.

Prior to YSU: Won the U18 Eguptian National Tournament...won the U16 Egyptian National Tournament...ranked as high as #2 in Egypt within age group.

Personal: Parents are Yasser and Abir El Mekawi...major is Information Technology...his brother, Bassem, is a former YSU men's tennis player.
