High School: Earned two letters and was a team captain at Mentor Lake Catholic… Batted over .400 as a junior and senior in earning All-North Coast League and All-Lake County Herald honors… Was also an all-region pick… Helped lead the squad to the state semifinals his senior year and the regional finals his junior year… Ranks in the top five in program history in RBIs and assists in a single season.
