Posted an 18-15 overall record and 12-10 in dual matches...played at the No. 1 spot in the lineup with a record of 6-6...went 6-4 as the No. 2 spot...won six straight games at the beginning of the season against Detroit Mercy, Eastern Illinois, Wayne State, Duquesne, Western Michigan and Toledo...posted a 4-3 record in the Horizon League...picked up a win against Wright State at the HL Championships...last six matches of the year were three sets...had 15 three-set contests during the season...in doubles play went 18-12...was 12-8 in dual matches and 4-1 in Horizon League contests...went 11-4 at No. 1 doubles with Danylo Veremeichuk and Vasilis Vardakis...played final 10 with Vardakis...earned his second letter.
2016-17 (Freshman) | Match-By-Match Stats
Posted a 20-14 overall record and was 17-8 in dual matches...was an impressive 5-1 in Horizon League play...was 14-6 at No. 4 in the lineup and also played matches at No. 3 and No. 5...in doubles had an overall record of 24-12 and went 18-7 in dual matches all in the No. 2 spot...opened the spring with a four-match winning streak...had another four-match win streak...had a season-long five-match victory run which came against HL foes...picked up a victory over Valparaiso in the Horizon League Tournament...played five three-set matches...had six doubles partners during the year but teamed up with Danylo Veremeichuk and Matthew Kritzinger for the contests in the spring...played final 14 contests with Veremeichuk...duo posted a 10-3 record and was 5-2 in Horizon League matches...with Kritzinger went 8-4 at No. 2...played all 27 matches at No. 2 in the doubles lineup...earned his first letter.
