2017 (Senior) | Game-By-Game StatsLed the team with 29 appearances, starting four games… Recorded a team-high six saves… Second on the team with 61 innings pitched and a 4.72 ERA… Finished the season with a 3-8 record, 29 walks and 26 strikeouts… Pitched 33.1 innings out of the bullpen in Horizon League play with a team-best 2.70 ERA… Earned his first win at Milwaukee on April 15 after throwing four scoreless innings… Recorded a season-high three strikeouts in three different outings… Pitched a season-high six innings allowing just two hits and no runs in a no decision at UIC on March 19… Finished his YSU career tied for ninth in saves (7), T-13th in appearances (66), 17th in games started (29), 18th in innings pitched (200.2).

Started 11 games on the mound and worked his way into the weekend rotation by the end of the season... Finished with a 2-4 record and led the Penguins with a 4.18 ERA and 64.2 innings pitched... Struck out 31 hitters and walked 30 while holding opponents to a .267 batting average... Was 2-2 with a 3.66 ERA in 39.1 innings in Horizon League play... Earned his first career save by tossing three innings and not allowing an earned run against Milwaukee (3/14)... His first career victory came in relief when he allowed a run in two innings against Oakland (4/3)... Also earned the win at Valparaiso when he held the Crusaders scoreless on three hits over seven innings (5/9)... His ERA for the year stood at 3.46 after beating Valpo... Hylton High won regional titles his junior and senior year… Helped lead the Bulldogs to the state semifinals in 2012 and the state quarterfinals in 2013… The 21-5 record in 2012 was the best at Hylton since 1994… Earned the win in the regional final.
