Played in all 12 games and started three times...started against Samford, Indiana State and South Dakota...was credited with 41 total tackles, including 21 solo stops...had a career-high eight tackles at South Dakota...was credited with six solo tackles against USD...had seven tackles against South Dakota and Western Illinois...had four tackles in three games..against Samford and Howard had three solo stops and an assisted tackle...had three tackles at UNI, including a sack for a nine-yard loss...also had a pass breakup against UNI...earned his first letter.

2018 (Freshman): Redshirted...saw action as a defensive reserve against Valparaiso.

High School: Was a first-team 7-A All-Region selection as a defensive back...had a career-high 17 tackles in win over Collins Hill...coach was Keith Maloof.

Personal: Parents are Lisa and Rick Madison...has a brother and a sister...his brother, Ricky, played basketball at High Point...as a senior, Ricky ranked third in the Big South in scoring in 2018-19...is the 2020-21 recipient of the Herb Williams Scholarship.
