2013 (Junior): Pitched in 11 games, five of which he started... Finished 0-3 with a 5.40 ERA in 23.1innings... Allowed 16 runs, 14 of which were earned, on 27 hits and14 walks... Struck out 10 batters, and opponents hit .325 against him... Named the Horizon League Pitcher of the Week on Feb. 25...Was not scored upon in two innings out of the bullpen in Horizon League play... His first four appearances and his final appearance were starts... Got a total of five runs of support in his three losses... Did not factor in the decision at Wake Forest when he held the Demon Deacons scoreless on one hit over five innings(2/24)... His longest relief outing came at Kent State, when he pitched 3.2 scoreless innings... Pitched scoreless innings out of the bullpen against Wright State (5/3) and Milwaukee (5/12)...Allowed one run in two innings in his start against Canisius(5/14).

2012 (Sophomore): Pitched in five of the first 10 games before missing the rest of the year with an injury... Posted an 0-1 record with a 14.14 ERA in seven innings... Struck out five and walked seven while opposing batters hit .457 off him... Did not allow an earned run in two innings against Monmouth (2/18)... Struck out two batters in two innings against Canisius in the season opener (2/17).

2011 (Freshman): Went 2-8with a 6.13 ERA in 18 appearances, 15 of which were starts... Set a new school record, along with Phil Klein, with 15 starts in a single season... Struck out 48 batters while walking 27 in 83.2innings, and opposing hitters batted .343 off of him... His 30strikeouts in Horizon League play ranked ninth in the conference...Was 1-4 with a 5.59 ERA in league play, and he was 1-1 with a 4.50ERA at home... Posted a quality start in seven of his last 11outings... Pitched seven innings six different times... Had an outstanding April, going 1-1 with a 2.23 ERA in his five starts and one relief appearance... Received two runs of support or fewer in seven of his eight losses... After walking 12 batters in his first four no-decisions against starts, he walked 15 in his last nine starts combined... His wins came against Toledo (3/18) and Cleveland State (4/23)...Struck out a career-high eight batters and allowed four hits in seven shutout innings against the Vikings... Allowed two earned runs in seven innings against the Rockets... In a no-decision against Milwaukee at Miller Park, he retired 19 straight batters after allowing a first-inning homer (4/29)... Did not allow a run in two of his three relief appearances, including one in the Horizon League Tournament against Valparaiso... Pitched a career-best 7.1 innings in a loss at Valparaiso (4/17).

High School: Earned four letters... Ranked 70th on The Buckeye Scout's Top 100 List... As a junior and senior, had a combined record of 14-3 and 165 strikeouts... Named First-Team All-Steel Valley Conference at pitcher his final two seasons... Pitched a five-inning perfect game against Warren JFK in his senior year, striking out 10 of the 15 batters he faced... Had a 1.20 ERA his senior year... As a junior, retired 13 straight batters in a complete-game victory over Woodridge in the Division III regional semifinal... Played his first two years at Campbell Memorial High.
