2015 (Sophomore): Played in four games as a third-year sophomore...attempted a field goal against Missouri State...had four kickoffs at Pittsburgh...attempted an onside kick late in the contest against Illinois State...had two kickoffs at Indiana State...earned his first letter.
2014 (R-Freshman): Was a member of the team as the backup placekicker, but did not play.
2013 (Freshman): Redshirted.
HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year placekicker for the Bulldogs...set Poland career records for field-goal made (19) and PATs converted (108)...also set mark for consecutive PATs made...made 19-of-31 field-goal attempts in career...had touchbacks on more than 50 percent of kickoffs as kickoff specialist...Bulldogs advanced to playoffs on three occasions...as a sophomore was an All-Northeast Inland District Division III second-team pick...coach was former Penguin Mark Brungard...also competed in track and field...member of 4x400 relay team that placed in the top 10 at state in junior and senior years.
PERSONAL: Parents are both members of the YSU Athletics Hall of Fame...his father, Paul, was a placekicker in the NFL for the Philadelphia Eagles, Atlanta Falcons and New York Giants...Paul played for the Penguins from 1980-83...his mother, Dianne, was a women's basketball standout at YSU from 1988-92...has two brothers and a sister...major is Geology...is the 2016-17 recipient of the Bob Dove Scholarship.
