Devin Higgins Biography

2013 (Junior) | Game-By-Game Stats: Played in 43 games, 29 of which he started in the outfield... Batted .250 with 15 runs scored, three doubles and 11 RBIs... Stole six bases in 10 attempts and had a .346 on-base percentage... Batted .300 with runners in scoring position... Had six multi-hit games... Was hitting .130 on April 5 but batted .339 the remainder of the season... Hit safely in five straight games at the start of the hot streak and went 3-for-3 with an RBI against Valparaiso (4/14)... Also had three hits against Alderson-Broaddus and UIC (5/24)... Also had a season-high three RBIs in the game against the Flames on May 24 in the Horizon League Tournament.

Shasta College (Redding, Calif.): Hit .301 and scored 40 runs in 35 games while stealing 19 bases in 22 attempts as a sophomore... Was a unanimous first-team all-Golden Valley Conference pick as a sophomore after earning second-team honors as a freshman.

High School: Earned two letters at Jesuit High and earned the team's defensive MVP award as a senior.

Personal: Parents are Michael Higgins and Mary Kay Gaffney... Has a sister (Tara)... Major is business.
