As a team, the Penguins set the record for most team touchdown passes with seven and accumulated 603 yards in total offense, including 407 through the air.

Roderick Owens Jr. led the defense with seven tackles while Carston Marshall and Brandon Chambers Jr. each had five.
Despite a 25-minute weather delay, Youngstown State made big plays in all three phases of the game, which propelled the Penguins to scoring drives on their first eight possessions.
Duquesne took opening drive 68 yards to the YSU seven yard line but had to settle for a 25-yard field goal by Matt Clark to take a 3-0 lead at the 9:38 mark of the first quarter.
Sparked by a 44-yard kickoff return by Donald Barksdale, the Penguins took a 7-3 on a Brungard-to-Jaden Gilbert touchdown pass on 4th-and-1 at the Duquesne three yard line. Brungard connected with Wyche-El on a 27-yard pass down to the Duquesne 12 to set up the score.
On the Dukes' next possession, Raleigh Collins III blocked an Andrew Graham punt, and the Penguins took over at the Duquesne 23. Four plays later, Brungard, who rushed for 20 yards on the drive, plunged in from three yards out to give the Penguins an 11-point lead, 14-3, at the 1:50 mark of the first.
The Penguins defense forced three-and-out, keyed by third-down sack by Mike Wells and Collins, and Wyche-El's 44 yards punt return set up Youngstown State at the Dukes' six yard line.
Brungard tossed his second touchdown pass of the game, hitting Dorian Williams on a six-yard strike to extend the lead to 21-3 at the end of the first stanza.
On its first possession of the second quarter, Duquesne marched 75 yards in eight plays capped by a 22-yard scoring strike from Carson Camp to Ryan Petras to cut the lead to 21-10 with 10:34 left before halftime.
Youngstown State wasted no time pushing its lead back to 18 points, 28-10. Brungard showed off his escapability by avoiding a sack and scampering 39 yards to the Duquesne 36. Two plays later, Sanders elevated over his defender to haul in Brungard's third scoring strike, this one from 36 yards.
The Penguins struck quickly again when Brungard fired his fourth touchdown pass of the game, connecting with Wyche-El on a nine-yard reception to cap a three-play, 55-yard drive to push the Penguins advantage to 35-10 at the 7:37 mark of the second quarter.
Brungard tied the school record single-game touchdown passes record connecting with Hunt on a four-yard reception and boosting the YSU to 42-10 with 3:14 left before the half, and he set the school mark with his sixth touchdown pass of the first half and his second to Wyche-El on a 23-yard swing pass to go up 49-10 with 40 seconds remaining before halftime.
The Penguins took the opening drive of the second half 75 yards in 13 plays to expand their lead to 56-10 after Brungard plunged in from a yard out at the 7:44 mark of the third quarter.
Malachi "Bubba" Lewis, who went 8-for-9 for 117 yards, fired his first career touchdown pass with a 54-yard strike to Max Welter with 14:10 left in the game, and he ran for his first career rushing touchdown with a 15-yard dash up the middle at the 8:13 mark.
