The game against the Hawks or Demon Deacons inside Zidian Family Arena at Beeghly Center will tip at 6:30 p.m. It will be the fourth time in program history that the Penguins will host a game in the Postseason WNIT, following home contests in 2013, 2015 and 2022.
Tickets will go on sale at noon on Wednesday, and Penguin Club Courtside Coaches Club members, courtside seat holders, and season ticket holders will have until 9 a.m. on game day to purchase their seats. Any unclaimed tickets will be released to the general public at that time. All reserved and general admission tickets are $15 in advance and $17 on game day. Youngstown State students will be admitted free with a valid ID, and the first 150 students in attendance will receive a T-shirt, courtesy of Eagle Wear.
Tickets may be purchased online through YSUsports.com, by phone at (330) 941-1978, or in person at the Stambaugh Stadium Athletic Ticket Office from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays.
Youngstown State earned a first-round bye in the tournament after earning the Horizon League's automatic bid into the 48-team field. The Penguins are 24-9 this season, and they are coming off a runner-up finish in the 2026 Barbasol Horizon League Women's Basketball Championship.
The first-round contest between Wake Forest and Maryland Eastern Shore will be played in Winston-Salem, N.C., on Thursday at 6 p.m.
