Brungard Headlines AFCA FCS All-America Squad

Youngstown State quarterback Beau Brungard earned his fourth first-team FCS All-America honor is as many days being selected to the Amerircan Football Coaches Association All-America squad the organization announced on Thursday.

Earlier this week Brungard was named to the SI.com FCS Central All-America squad, the AP All-American team and the FCS Stats Perform All-America unit.

In the 2025 regular season, Brungard rushed for 1,378 yards on 225 carries with 24 touchdowns while completing 254-of-368 passes for 2,917 yards and 23 touchdowns with just three interceptions. He also added a receiving touchdown. In MVFC games, he rushed for 852 yards on 155 carries with 16 touchdowns while completing 180-of-256 passes for 2,1621 yards and 19 TDs. He was named the MVFC's Offensive Player of the Year while earning first-team all-league accolades in each of the past two campaigns.

He is one of three players who has been invited to Nashville, Tenn., for the 2025 Walter Payton Award ceremony which will take place on Jan. 3.

He helped lead the Penguins an FCS playoff appearance for the second time in three seasons.
