YSU Inducts Athetics Hall of Fame Class of 2023

All five 2023 Hall of Fame honors took part in the event and all shared personal stories and what Youngstown State meant to them during and after their careers.

Brandi Brown (Women's Basketball) | Speech

The Youngstown State 2023 Hall of Fame class was inducted on Saturday morning at a ceremony held in YSU's Kilcawley Center.
o ranked second in school history with 2,079 points, making her one of only two players in YSU and Horizon League history to score 2,000 points and grab 1,000 rebounds. Brown scored in double figures 105 times in 123 career games, and she posted 59 double-doubles.
Drew Dosch (Baseball) | Speech
Finished career with a .325 batting average with 185 hits, 91 runs scored and 83 RBI…had 29 doubles, 11 home runs and four triples…posted a .447 slugging percentage and a .397 on-base percentage…had 255 total bases and 73 walks…recorded 303 assists and 115 putouts defensively.
Damian Eargle (Men's Basketball) | Speech
At YSU finished with 1,061 points, 622 rebounds and 309 blocked shots…holds the school record for career blocked shots, averaging just over 100 per season…set the Horizon League all games and league-game blocks records of 309 and 162, respectively…set the Horizon League single-season blocks record with 116 (overall) and 65 (league-only) in 2011-12…in collegiate career, scored 1,329 career points, including 268 in one campaign at UNC-Greensboro.
Concluded his YSU career as the school-record holder in completions (706), attempts (1,135), yards (8,925), touchdown passes (75), yards per game (198.4), 200-yard passing games (24), passer rating (144.96), TDs responsible for (87), four-touchdown passing games (six), total offensive yards (9,459) and total offense per game (210.2)…three-time all-conference selection and three-time first-team academic all-conference honoree…passed for more than 2,000 yards each of his four seasons
Vicky Rumph (Softball) | Speech
Third-team Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-American in 2012…was a two-time Capital One Academic All-District selection…had 192 hits, 22 home runs, 123 RBI, scored 97 runs and had 608 at bats throughout her career.
