Career Notes: Started all 45 games at quarterback…concluded his YSU career as the school-record holder in completions (706), attempts (1,135), yards (8,925), touchdown passes (75), yards per game (198.4), 200-yard passing games (24), passer rating (144.96), TDs responsible for (87), four-touchdown passing games (six), total offensive yards (9,459) and total offense per game (210.2)…three-time all-conference selection and three-time first-team academic all-conference honoree…passed for more than 2,000 yards each of his four seasons…in four games against BCS foes (Michigan State twice, Pittsburgh, Penn State) completed 62-of-110 passes (56.3 percent) with six touchdowns and one interception.

2013 | Senior
Second-team All-Missouri Valley Football Conference selection…completed 164-of-265 passes for 2,229 yards and 22 touchdowns in 12 games…had just six interceptions…averaged 185.8 yards per game with a completion percentage of 61.9…finished with a passing efficiency of 155.41…had six 200-yard plus passing games, including a career-high 311 vs. Illinois State…threw four touchdown passes against Southern Illinois and Illinois State…three-time MVFC Offensive Player of the Week…rushed for 106 yards on 53 carries and had four touchdowns…all four rushing TDs were in league play…had two scores at UNI and one at South Dakota and against Illinois State…in win over Illinois State completed 17-of-21 passes for 311 yards and four scores…engineered a fourth-quarter comeback at Southern Illinois with YSU trailing 27-14 and under 10 minutes left…was 25-of-37 for 258 yards and four scores in the win over the Salukis…at South Dakota completed 22-of-26 passes for 283 yards and two scores…had a season-high 12 rushes against the Coyotes…marched the Penguins 74 yards in 10 plays to score the game-winning touchdown with 14 seconds left at USD…was 16-of-19 for 282 yards and three scores in win over Morehead State…was 15-of-25 for 292 yards and two scores against Duquesne…at UNI completed 15-of-22 passes for 207 yards and a touchdown…at Indiana State was 14-of-23 for 164 yards and a score…had 138 yards and a touchdown vs. South Dakota State…at Michigan State completed 11-of-27 passes for 121 yards and a touchdown…played the final two games of the year with an ankle injury…named to FCS ADA Academic All-Star Team.

2012 | Junior
Honorable-Mention All-Missouri Valley Football Conference selection...started all 11 games at quarterback...named to the MVFC’s all-academic first team...named a team captain...completed 176-of-278 passes for 2,112 yards and 15 touchdowns...had five 200-plus yard performances...threw touchdown passes in eight games...rushed for 121 yards on 55 carries and scored two touchdowns...finished with 2,233 yards of total offense, an average of 203 per game...was MVFC Offensive Player of the Week for performances against UNI and Indiana State...in MVFC games, completed 141-of-223 passes for 1,637 yards and 11 touchdowns...averaged 204.6 yards per game...passed for a season-high 290 yards completing 20-of-28 passes and had four touchdowns in win over UNI...had touchdown tosses of 25, 26, 38 and 43 in the contest...in guiding Penguins to first-ever win over BCS foe, completed 13-of-23 passes for 154 yards and two touchdowns at Pittsburgh...had a season-best nine rushing attempts for a high of 35 yards...threw a 27-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter and a 14-yarder in the second...against Indiana State, completed 20-of-28 passes for 248 yards and two touchdowns...at South Dakota State completed a season-high 25 passes and threw 42 passes...against Illinois State, was 16-of-29 for 201 yards and a touchdown...completed 24-of-37 passes for 231 yards against Southern Illinois...against South Dakota completed 11-of-17 passes for 133 yards and a TD...was 14-of-22 for 147 yards in win at Western Illinois.

2011 | Sophomore
First-team All-Missouri Valley Football Conference selection...finished third in voting for the MVFC’s Offensive Player of the Year...named to the MVFC’s all-academic first team...started all 12 games...completed 187-of-288 passes for 2,468 yards and a school-record 26 touchdowns...completion percentage of 64.8 percent was a school record...had a passing efficiency of 161.1...ranked fourth the Football Championship Subdivision in that category...threw a touchdown pass in all 11 games and had eight multiple-touchdown performances...had three rushing touchdowns and finished with 165 yards on 40 carries...was 147-of-226 (65 percent) for 1,996 with 22 touchdowns in MVFC play…set a school record with five touchdown passes against Missouri State...passed for a career-best 306 yards completing 22-of-32 attempts against the Bears...had touchdown passes of 52, 18, 12, 10 and five in the game...was named MVFC Offensive Player of the Week for performances against North Dakota State and Illinois State...engineered impressive come-from-behind win over top-ranked NDSU...completed 20-of-24 passes for 237 yards and two touchdowns...also had a rushing score...connected on 12 straight and 13 of final 14 passes in the game...against Illinois State completed 21-of-29 passes for 293 yards and four touchdowns......also had a rushing touchdown...at Indiana State had a season-high 25 completions and 41 attempts against the Sycamores...threw for 224 yards and two touchdowns...completed 16-of-21 passes for 264 yards and two touchdowns in win at SIU.

2010 | Redshirt Freshman
Selected as the Missouri Valley Football Conference’s Freshman of the Year...named to the All-Newcomer squad...selected as the team’s Newcomer of the Year...completed 179-of-304 passes for 2,117 yards and 12 touchdowns…became the first quarterback in YSU history to throw for 200 yards in five straight games...is first freshman in school history to pass for more than 2,000 in a season…also set freshman marks for attempts and completions…had five multi-touchdown passing games…season high of 263 yards passing on 26-of-46 effort at South Dakota State to go along with two touchdowns…set a school record by attempting 46 passes without an interception...in collegiate debut at Penn State was 21-of-25 for 189 yards and two touchdowns...connected on a season-long 80-yard scoring toss to Dominique Barnes in the first quarter...was 22-of-31 for 252 yards and a touchdown against playoff-qualifier North Dakota State...threw for 250 yards on a 19-of-38 effort and had two touchdowns at Illinois State...threw a season-best three touchdown passes in win over nationally-ranked Southern Illinois.

HIGH SCHOOL: First-team Greater Catholic League North Division selection...named most valuable offensive back...Honorable-Mention Division III Southwest All-District selection...as a senior, completed 149-of-269 passes for 1,824 yards and 12 TD...tossed five touchdown passes against Dayton Thurgood Marshall...second-team Greater Catholic League and honorable-mention all-district selection as a junior...completed 189-of-310 passes for 2,322 yards...threw 23 touchdown passes...three-year starting quarterback.
