Brown, a native of Pomona, Calif., finished her Youngstown State career as the school-record holder in rebounds (1,239), defensive rebounds (819), free throws made (443), free throws attempted (646), games played (123), games started (123) and minutes (3,941). She also ranked second in school history with 2,079 points, making her one of only two players in YSU and Horizon League history to score 2,000 points and grab 1,000 rebounds. Brown scored in double figures 105 times in 123 career games, and she posted 59 double-doubles.

2012-13 | Senior
Was named the Horizon League Player of the Year…tabbed Honorable Mention All-American and was named First-Team Academic All-American…named to the HL All-Tournament team…averaged career highs of 20.1 points and 11.1 rebounds… was one of only two players nationally to rank among the top 20 in the country both scoring and rebounding…ranked fifth in the country with 23 double-doubles…started all 33 games…scored 662 points while grabbing 365 rebounds…made 241 field goals, including 53 3-pointers…was 127-of-178 from the free-throw line (71.3 percent)…also had 50 steals and 30 assists…during a memorable three-game home stretch, Brown scored 33 points against Cleveland State, 39 versus UIC, and, when fans wore “Brown 42” T-shirts on “Brandi Brown Appreciation Day”, she added to her legend by scoring 42 points against Wright State…added a season-best 21 rebounds against the Raiders to post just the second 40-20 game in school history and the first in the country in a Division I game in six years…was named the espnW National Player of the Week for her efforts…scored in double figures in 32 of 33 games…had 17 games of 20-or-more points…scored 31 points in a Horizon League quarterfinal win over Cleveland State…had 28 points at VCU…at Cleveland State had 28 points and 17 rebounds…poured in 26 points and grabbed 19 rebounds against Bryant…had 25 vs. IUPUI and 24 at Buffalo… grabbed 18 board vs. Detroit Mercy…made four 3-pointers on six occasions…made 13 field goals in three games.

2011-12 | Junior
Named Second-Team All-Horizon League for the second consecutive season...also earned Academic All-Horizon League honors for the second straight year...started all 30 games...scored 478 points on 165 field goals, 34 of which were 3-pointers, and 114 free throws...added 279 rebounds, 21 assists, five blocks and 44 steals...shot 40.3 percent from the field, 31.5 percent from 3-point range and 74.5 percent from the free-throw line...ranked seventh in the Horizon League in scoring (15.9 points per game) and sixth in rebounding (9.3 per game)...her 12 20-point games tied for the third-most in the conference...in league play, averaged 17 points and 8.4 rebounds while shooting 42.6 percent from the field, 38.7 percent from 3-point range and 71.7 percent from the free-throw line...ranked 43rd nationally in rebounds per game and 103rd in points per game…named to the All-Tournament Team at the LMU DoubleTree L.A. Westside Thanksgiving Classic…scored her 1,000th career point against Loyola Marymount on Nov. 25 on a free throw with 15:06 left in the first half…became the third-fastest player in school to score her 1,000th point, reaching the milestone in her 65th career game…reached double figures in 25 of YSU’s 30 games and registered at least 10 rebounds in 11 contests…was the Penguins’ top scorer in 19 games and their top rebounder in 24 contests...scored a season-high 26 points behind a 12-for-13 effort from the charity stripe against Loyola (1/12)…scored 21 points and matched a career high with 19 rebounds against No. 11 Green Bay (2/18)…also had double-doubles against LMU, Western Michigan, Akron, Stony Brook, Cleveland State, Butler, Green Bay (twice) and Valparaiso.

2010-11 | Sophomore
Named Second-Team All-Horizon League...first Penguin to earn all-league honors since 2007-08...also earned Academic All-Horizon League accolades...started all 30 games at forward...scored 597 points on 233 field goals, 37 of which were 3-pointers, and 114 free throws...added 277 rebounds, 18 assists, 18 blocks and 43 steals...shot 47.2 percent from the field and 75.5 percent from the free-throw line...led the Horizon League in scoring (19.9 points per game) and ranked fourth in rebounding (9.2 per game)...in conference games, ranked first in scoring (22.6 ppg) and fourth in rebounding (9.6 rpg)...tied for the league lead with 13 double-doubles...set conference records for points (406) and field goals (152) during league play...scored at least 20 points on 17 occasions, including seven straight to close out the regular season...nationally, ranked 15th in scoring and 49th in rebounding...was one of only 10 players in the country to rank in the top 50 in both categories, and only three of those 10 were sophomores...named the Horizon League Player of the Week three times, becoming the first Penguin to earn the honor twice in the same season since YSU joined the league in 2001-02...scored a season-high 35 points against UIC (3/3)...scored 29 points and grabbed a season-high 18 rebounds in leading YSU to a win at Valpo (1/13).

2009-10 | Freshman
Voted onto the Horizon League All-Newcomer Team and was the runner-up for the league’s Newcomer-of-the-Year award...was the only Horizon League player to average a double-double...averaged 11.4 points, 10.6 rebounds and 1.6 steals in 32.2 minutes per game...led the circuit in rebounding while ranking 15th in scoring...was even better in Horizon League games, averaging 12.3 points, 11.3 rebounds and 2.1 steals...in league games, led the conference in rebounding while ranking 12th in scoring and fifth in steals...ranked 18th in the country in rebounding average and tied for 30th in double-doubles...her 318 rebounds were the most-ever by a YSU freshman and the fifth-most for a season regardless of class...scored 342 points, which is the third-most by a YSU freshman...was the first YSU freshman to score 300 points since 1994-95...additionally, 49 steals were the seventh-most by a YSU freshman...posted 10 double-doubles in 18 Horizon League contests...her 19 rebounds at Loyola (1/9) tied for the top mark in the Horizon League during the season...scored a season-high 24 points and had 14 boards at Akron (12/5)...had first career double-double against High Point (11/14) with 14 points and 11 boards.

High School: Was a two-year letterwinner...averaged 24 points and 19.6 rebounds as a senior...averaged 2.3 steals and 1.8 blocks per game...retired as Claremont’s all-time leading scorer and rebounder... Notched career highs of 36 points and 35 rebounds...averaged 18.2 points and 14.3 rebounds as a junior, 16.1 and 12.8 as a sophomore and 10.6 and 9.1 as a freshman...earned Second-Team All-CIF Southern Section honors at the Division IIA level as a senior...named First-Team All-Baseline League as a senior and junior.
