Green Bay, Wis. -- The Youngstown State softball team fell to Green Bay for the third straight game after dropping an 8-0 decision to Phoenix on Saturday afternoon at King Park.
The Penguins fall to 20-23 overall and 8-8 in Horizon League play while Green Bay improves to 15-27 overall and 7-9 in the league.
Elyssa Imler and Taylor Truran recorded the Penguins two hits.
Green Bay scored three runs in the first, four in the fourth and another in the fifth in enforce the mercy rule.
Youngstown State is slated to host Niagara in a doubleheader, Thursday, April 27. First pitch is set for 3 p.m. at the YSU Softball Field in the Covelli Sports Complex.
